How to use our wrap

Wrap Devil offers quality films that are all equipped with the so-called Air Free Bubble System. This makes the foil easy to apply.

In addition to beautifying the car, the foil also provides protection against stone chips, salt, tar and the like.

Pay attention!! our ''Devil Glue only adhere when you use a paint dryer. Once the foil has been applied, blow-drying should also be carried out afterwards, so that the adhesive layer adheres well.

IMPORTANT BEFORE APPLYING THE FILM:

Temperature: The optimum ambient temperature when applying the film is approximately 21 degrees Celsius. A garage/room that can be heated is necessary.

Cleaning: Clean the car well, especially along the edges of the rubbers and under the rubbers. Remove all tar particles and other small imperfections that may become visible. After you have washed the car with a car wash, you should spray it with water. The wheel arches are also very important. Make sure you clean it well, also on the inside. If you don't do this, this can cause problems later due to water splashing on the tires.

Moisture/water: Then dry the car thoroughly, especially along the edges. The car must be completely free of moisture and grease. If this is not the case, the foil will not adhere properly.

Wax: The car should not be waxed just before wrapping. Do not wash the car with detergent that has wax in it.

APPLYING WRAP DEVIL™ CARWRAP FOILS

Requirements:

Good light, so that you can see if there are no blisters. These can be removed when you are there in time and iron them away.
A snap-off knife (see 'tools'), so that you can finish the edges well.
A squeegee, to iron the foil on the car and remove the blisters.
A paint stripper/hot air gun (or hair dryer). By heating the foil, the foil can be stretched and modelled. Before you start on a large surface of the car, it is wise to first see what happens to the foil when you heat it. This way you get a feel for the foil and you know how easy it is to process.
You can easily blow dry any creases out of the foil.
Pay attention! Keep the paint burner at a sufficient distance from the vinyl (40 cm). The vinyl reacts quite quickly to heat.

Installation:

It is advisable to start with easy parts of the car (easy parts are: the parts above the front and rear wheels). This is to get a feel for the product. You can feel the elasticity of the product during heating.
It is wise to work from 1 point. So from top to bottom or from left to right.
Avoid color differences on the car by applying the vinyl in the same direction as you take it off the roll!!
Applying the vinyl to the roof and hood should be done with at least two people. Other parts can be fitted by one person. Flat parts do not always need to be heated. So if you don't need to heat, don't do it. (With extreme stretch with 3D carbon, the 3D structure will become less beautiful). Once the foil has been applied, blow dry over the parts that have not been blow-dried, so that the glue layer adheres well.
On round surfaces (e.g. bumpers and the rear-view mirror you have to heat the foil to get a nice result.
You can use your hand during application, but the use of a squeegee is necessary to remove bubbles and finish edges well .
the finish of the vinyl is very important. Fold the vinyl right inside the wheel arches. Make sure it adheres well to the inside. If you do not, water may crawl inside.
Finally, you have to blow-dry the parts that you have not blow-dried, so that the glue layer adheres well.
Leave the car in the area where it was wrapped for 24 hours. This will keep the foil in place better and not let go or show bubbles.

Applying to difficult areas per part of the car:

Door handles: for best results, remove the handles. If you don't want to do this, you have to make sure that you work accurately here. It is important that you allow the vinyl to adhere around the latch. From here you try to get the vinyl tight towards the latch.
Bumpers: There are 2 areas on the bumpers that can cause problems, the corners and the holes in the bumpers. Start at the bumper on one side and leave the rest of the foil in the protective paper. Tighten the vinyl at the corners of the bumper and heat this corner well so that the foil forms around the bumper. At the holes it is advisable to heat well and press the vinyl in the middle so that the sides adhere to the bumper.
Side mirrors: You get the best result if you remove these. If you do not do this, it is wise to cut a hole in the vinyl and stick it around the hole around the mirror. From this point you work to the left and down.
